Plans in partnership with NEMA to provide relief materials to flood victims
Following the receipt of a distress call from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) seeking the Committee’s assistance of food and non-food items in order to mitigate the impacts of the 22 floods in Nigeria; the Co-Chairmen of the Presidential Committee on Flood Relief and Rehabilitation (PCFRR) summoned an emergency meeting on Thursday, 13th October, 2022, at the Committee’s Secretariat.
Relief materials (food and non-food) being delivered by PCFRR to NEMA warehouses across the nation, in aid of 2022 flood victims.
The following are relief materials (food and non-food) being delivered across the 6 geo-political zones in the country. Each Geo-political zone will have: 500 bags of 50kg Rice, 200 bags of 100kg Beans, 200 kegs of 25litres Vegetable Oil, 6,000 units of Guinea Brocade and so much more.

About us
One of the most prevalent natural disasters in Nigeria is perennial flooding. Many states in Nigeria are increasingly experiencing annual floods during the rainy seasons. PCFRR raises funds to complement/augment Federal Government’s efforts to cushion the immediate effects of flooding and resettlement and recovery of affected persons.
